I don't do broad. I find the specific problem inside an industry that everyone else is stepping over, and I build directly for it. I've done it five times across twenty years. Tactical Reset™ is the most important thing I've ever built.

I opened my first brick-and-mortar business at 25, in 2005, and ran businesses for the next two decades. I know what it takes to build something from nothing — boots on the ground, with my own hands. What most people didn't know: I was carrying an addiction through almost all of it. Getting sober is what made space for the most important work of my life.

My grandmother was a police officer. I grew up in law enforcement, so I've lived on both sides of this system — the badge and the cell. I was arrested more times than I can count. Through every one of them, I never stopped building.

While I was inside a correctional facility, I watched smart, capable women lose control in seconds — not because they were bad people, but because nobody had ever taught them how to find the space between what happens and how they react to it. Staff would say "Calm down." Sometimes it worked. Sometimes it made things worse.

In my own recovery, I got quiet. I started meditating. I asked what I was supposed to do with everything I'd been through — twenty years of building, a grandmother who was a law enforcement officer, time on both sides of the system. The answer was clear: build the tool. Close the gap.

Tactical Reset™ is a behavioral de-escalation tool built for county jails and correctional facilities. Between trigger and reaction, there's a space. RUN IT gives people a simple tool they can use inside that space to help create a pause before the next decision. It deploys in booking, can be used during escalation, and goes home with them. And we've gamified the system for the tablets already inside correctional facilities — creating another pathway for facilities to deploy the tool, document engagement, and pursue available funding.

I'm not pitching from a distance. I built this from inside the system, from both sides of it, and from twenty years of building specialized solutions in industries that weren't waiting for someone to solve their specific problem.

The people we work with aren't underserved because they're incapable. They're underserved in one specific skill: the pause. Their parents weren't taught it, and so their children won't be taught it either — unless someone closes the gap. Run It closes that gap.
